The FPSO One Guyana project has reached a breakthrough with the completion of its final lifting modules at the Seatriumyard in Singapore. This vessel will be critical to production operations in ExxonMobil’s Yellowtail field because it is designed for operations in the Stabroek block, offshore Guyana.
FPSO One Guyana project integration
This milestone was achieved without any lost time incidents, after completing more than 25 million man-hours of work. With this achievement, the project now enters its integration and commissioning phase, preparing the vessel for departure from the dock in early 2025.
The company has excelled in the construction of the FPSO, and the installation teams successfully completed the first phase of the offshore campaign. This phase included the installation of the anchorages and subsea mooring lines, which prepare the ground for the vessel’s arrival at the operating site.
One Guyana is expected to play a key role in the oil extraction activities of the Stabroek block, with a planned production capacity of up to 250,000 barrels of oil per day. The partnership between SBM Offshore and ExxonMobil on this project underscores the commitment to safe and efficient hydrocarbon production in the region.
