The Brazilian company Tégula Solar is manufacturing in Sao Paulo, new models of modern and customizable photovoltaic solar tiles, which also increase their efficiency and production capacity.

Solar tiles stand out for factors such as their easy adaptation to existing constructions, since their installation is almost the same as that of a conventional concrete tile. No major changes are needed in the roof structure and they can also be customized in color to adapt to the style of the area where they are going to be placed.

Tégula has up to three different models: BIG-F10C, BIG-F11 and PLANA-F15, which are already certified and can be marketed. The BIG-F10C model was designed to offer greater installation flexibility on already built roofs or in roof renovations that use Tégula’s BIG concrete tile, with smaller gauges (distance between the battens that determines the overlap between the tiles). , between 36 and 40.5cm, and with a power of 9.16 Wp.

From Tégula they have advanced that “the tiles will be competitive in price with the current alternatives on the market, but with numerous advantages.”
