From November 15 to 18, the 5th Oil, Gas and Energy Summit: geopolitics, transition and energy security will be held at the Ágora Convention Center in Bogotá, Colombia, an event organized by the Colombian Oil and Gas Association (ACP) , Campetrol – Colombian Chamber of Oil, Gas and Energy Goods and Services (CAMPETROL), Colombian Association of Petroleum Geologists and Geophysicists (ACGGP) and Colombian Association of Engineers (ACIEM).
An attendance of more than 3,500 people is expected, who will meet to analyze and discuss the challenges posed by the transition and energy security, labor policy, the National Development Plan and regional dialogues, energy transitions and economic impact and human rights.
The technical agenda will have more than 50 conferences and at the business fair there will be 90 commercial stands where innovations and technical advances in the industry will be presented.
The sessions will feature different prominent personalities: Nelson Castañeda, president of Campetrol; Irene Vélez, Minister of Mines and Energy; Agnia Grigas, international expert in gas geopolitics; Francisco José Lloreda Mera, president of the Colombian Oil and Gas Association; Felipe Pérez, Downstream Strategist for Latin America at Standard & Poor’s; Nathan Niese, Partner and Associate, director of the Center for Climate Change and Automotive Electrification at BCG; Brian Sullivan, CEO of Ipieca; among others.
