Equinor has awarded DeepOcean an agreement for multiple subsea infrastructure remediation and restoration services.

Restructuring of the platform and subsea infrastructure

This agreement focuses on subsea intervention and contingency repair of high voltage subsea pipelines, structures and cables for both offshore renewable energy and oil and gas fields. With an initial term of four years, the contract also offers the flexibility to extend for up to four additional years.

The scope of the agreement extends to the Norwegian continental shelf, as well as Equinor’s planned international work and contingency activities for members of the PRSI group. The latter is composed of 23 energy companies that are grouped together to manage marine pipeline and power cable repair contingencies.
