Sanoat Energetika Guruhi (Saneg) , the largest private oil and gas company in Uzbekistan, has started operations of its new oil tank farm to supply gasoline and diesel fuel to Tashkent and surrounding regions.

Saneg’s existing refueling complex at the Tashkent International Airport facility has been expanded to include six vertical steel tanks that can store an additional 12,000 m3 of petroleum products. By unloading light petroleum products from tankers for storage at the tank farm, the complex will facilitate the daily sale of 1,500 t of fuel through onward transhipment.

“Right now, the existing oil depot is loading and unloading AI-92 and AI-80 unleaded gasolines produced at Ferghana Oil Refinery, as well as diesel fuel. Thanks to the start-up of the new Saneg logistics complex, we will be able to meet the growing demand for high-quality fuel and ensure delivery to the capital’s gas stations within an hour, supported by a fleet of 39 tanker trucks.” explained Ulugbek Shernazarov, Saneg’s Deputy Director General for Commercial Affairs.

The expansion of the tank complex follows Saneg’s recent creation of a new internal Well Maintenance and Overhaul Department which is significantly improving the efficiency of workover work in the company’s oil fields.
