Versa Unmanned ‘s inspection capabilities evolve at the speed of technological innovation. Across drones, robotics and submersibles, Versa Integrity continually tests new technologies to provide inspectors with equipment that enables them to securely collect and process data and reduce downtime for customers.

Versa Integrity has a drone and robotics division, Versa Unmanned , which recently began using Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) like the Deep Trekker DTG3 to collect data and solutions in hard-to-reach maritime environments. . Using an ROV like the DTG3 reduces or eliminates the amount of time a diver must spend underwater, minimizing their risk in strong currents or choppy waters.

By connecting an ultrasonic thickness gauge, inspectors can navigate to the surface of the asset being inspected and determine wall thickness to within a tenth of a millimeter. This allows inspectors and customers to assess structural integrity and condition, which could inform optimal future repair and maintenance schedules for your assets.

The future of inspection drones, robotics and submersibles have ushered in a new era of inspection. With enhanced tools and capabilities, inspectors can inspect more assets more effectively than ever before.
