The Hexicon-led MunmuBaram floating wind project has taken a significant step forward by receiving Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) approval from South Korea’s Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. This achievement is crucial for the future of the offshore wind farm 1,125 MW offshore wind farm, which will be located some 60 km off the coast of Ulsan, a key region in the country’s energy transition.

With this approval, Hexicon secures its participation in South Korea’s wind power auction system, marking a key step forward in its mission to promote renewable energy. renewable energy on the Korean peninsula.
