Unanimously, the members of the Board of Directors of the Colombian Natural Gas Association – NATURGAS elected Ana María Duque, president of Shell , as its new President.
Ana María Duque is a natural leader, a woman committed to promoting the role of natural gas in the Energy Transition, and also convinced of a progressive and fair transition for the benefit of all Colombians.

She is a lawyer from the Universidad de los Andes with more than 15 years of experience in the energy and public sector. “I am sure that we will continue working together for the purpose that brings us together: to guarantee that Natural Gas reaches all of our homes,” Ana María pointed out after her election.
“Ana María has extensive experience in the industry, she is recognized for her visionary and innovative leadership, as well as for her management with a strategic approach, essential qualities that will contribute to fulfilling a common objective of the union: to use Natural Gas as a vehicle for reduce poverty, close inequality gaps and firmly enable the energy transition”, stated Luz Stella Murgas, president of NATURGAS .
The new President of the Board of Directors of the Association assumes the position replacing Rodolfo Anaya, president of Vanti. “The natural gas industry thanks Rodolfo Anaya for his commitment, impeccable management and leadership in driving the Association’s objectives. It correctly oriented the consolidation of the benefits of natural gas as a tool to improve the quality of life of Colombians”, concluded the President of NATURGAS.
