MDL has provided support to Rana Diving, an Italian subsea contractor, in the installation of pipelines to installation of rigid pipelines in the Mediterranean Sea. The operation was successfully carried out thanks to the mobilization of a MDL two-way tensioner, which was installed on the AD3 barge for the laying of 4 km of 4-inch rigid pipeline off the east coast of Italy.
The portable technology offered by MDL allowed Rana Diving to complete the task using a locally available boat.
