PERUMIN 36: Call for technical papers for the 2023 National Mining Award begins

The Technology, Innovation and Sustainability Forum – TIS Forum, chaired by Juan Carlos Ortiz and held within the framework of PERUMIN 36 Mining Convention, invites you to participate in its call for technical papers and compete for the National Mining Award, the highest award given the Peruvian mining industry to researchers, professionals and academics in the sector.

This call, which runs until March 15, is aimed at professionals and students who carry out activities related to the mining sector or who can provide interesting proposals for it.

The projects to apply must be related to the mining field in any of the eight established categories: Geology and explorations; mining operations; mining economy; Environmental management; Social management; Mineral processing and extractive metallurgy; Legal and tax; and Research and mining technology.

The first phase of this call consists of sending the summaries of technical papers, which will be evaluated and preselected by prominent professionals from mining companies and academic entities.

The second phase is focused on the selected works, which will be exhibited in the TIS Forum program during PERUMIN 36 and among which the winner of the National Mining Award will be chosen.
