Universal Robots has revealed the expansion of its product catalog by launching a new collaborative robot with a load capacity of 30 kg, called UR30.

Derived from the same architecture as the award-winning UR20, the UR30 stands out for its exceptional lifting capacity despite its compact design. Its advanced motion control ensures precise placement of large loads, making it easier to operate at higher speeds and handle heavier loads.

UR30: The collaborative robot for various applications

The distinctive features of the UR30 make it a suitable choice for various applications, including machine feeding, material handling and high-torque screwdriving. In the field of machine feeding, the 30 kg payload offers new opportunities, allowing the cobot to use different grippers simultaneously. In this sense, the UR30 has the ability to remove finished parts and load more material in a single movement, reducing changeover times and optimizing productivity.

The newly launched UR30 features notable improvements in the high-torque screwdriving task as it has the ability to handle larger, higher-performance torque tools. Thanks to its constant mode function, the collaborative robot ensures solid and uniform screwdriving, making it an ideal application for the automotive industry.

On the other hand, the payload of 30 Kg makes the UR30 an outstanding option for material handling and palletizing heavy products in various industrial sectors.

Additionally, its compact design allows it to fit into virtually any workspace , freeing workers from heavy tasks. Weighing just 63.5 kg, the new cobot also moves easily between different work areas.
