Inspenet, a network of knowledge and professional connection, was at the Naturgas 2022 Congress, which took place from October 5 to 7 at the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center, Colombia, organized by the Colombian Natural Gas Association.
During the event, Luz Stella Murgas, President of the Colombian Natural Gas Association, spoke exclusively with Inspenet TV about the role of natural gas in the region.
“These were three positive days for the Natural Gas industry, here they discussed all the issues related to the main needs of the country and how natural gas can be used to help close the inequality gap, reduce poverty, such as we can maintain food security and fight against hunger, taking advantage of the reserves we have of natural gas”, explained Murgas.
And he added: “I want to emphasize that this congress gave results of consensus, of dialogues, and the main thing: here it was reflected, natural gas has a relevant role, in the process of energy transition, but that it is also the most consistent energy to close the social gaps and satisfy those demands that the Colombian people so much acclaim.”
