The Ameca robot has achieved the ability to interpret the shapes of animals and put them on paper through impressive drawings. This time his creation was a cat.

The technological advances achieved so far make it possible to ask a robot not only to draw, but also to interpret what it has created. Thanks to the introduction of the GPT-4 programming language, the possibilities of these devices have skyrocketed. The publication of new images stimulates the development of other projects, since currently Ameca, one of the most advanced units, has created its own interpretation of a cat.

Ameca is a humanoid robot that has expanded its variety of applications over time. Today it has a series of dynamic solutions that position it as a benchmark in the technology industry.

Drawing a cat in a generalized way may seem like a simple task for humans, but what about when it comes to artificial intelligence ? In this case, Ameca has been able to recognize each of the parts of a cat’s body.

The conversion from text to image has been possible thanks to Stable Diffusion, a program that provides a differentiated experience by obtaining visual information according to the treatment of the data. Engineered Arts is aware of the incredible potential of this machine, but it has been decided to show the operation of this project through the simple drawing of a cat.

Robotics has experienced exponential growth in recent years. Nowadays, it is common to find advanced technologies such as ChatGPT or Midjourney , as well as humanoid robots capable of carrying out charging tasks. Within this category of products, Optimus stands out, the robot developed by Tesla for future operations in its plants. These have attracted more and more investments due to their high demonstrated potential.

There is still a long way to go. In fact, there are many details that need to be polished. However, this is a first approximation that helps to understand how robotics can already enjoy graphical interpretations. Since last October, Ameca has been using this innovative solution that has been improving as improvements have been made to its own database.

A positive aspect in this regard is the fact that it is possible to easily train the AI to improve the results the next time the same task is requested.
