For the first time, the City of Campeche will host the XVII Mexican Petroleum Congress (CMP), the most outstanding event in Latin America in relation to the Oil Industry, which will take place from June 7 to 10, 2023 .
The State of Campeche is the main oil-producing region in Mexico and this year, the congress program will have more than 300 technical conferences, which will be presented in various modalities, such as plenary conferences, oral sessions, poster sessions and short courses. prior to the congress.
The works selected by the team of technical experts will be exhibited by national and international specialists. A space of 15,000 square meters has been reserved for the Industrial Exhibition, where 700 stands will be installed for exhibitors.

This event is organized by the Mexican Association of Petroleum Geologists (AMGP), in collaboration with the Mexican Association of Exploration Geophysicists (AMGE), the College of Petroleum Engineers of Mexico (CIPM), the Association of Petroleum Engineers of Mexico (AIPM ) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Mexico Section.
These organizations unite their efforts with the purpose of promoting knowledge and technical and technological updating that allows Mexico to take optimal advantage of the exploration and exploitation of the country’s hydrocarbon resources.
