California-based company Dexterity has unveiled Mech, the first superhumanoid industrial robot designed to perform physically demanding tasks in logistics environments. Featuring two articulated arms mounted on an autonomous rover, Mech represents a new category in robotics applied to the supply chain.
A superhumanoid for industrial challenges
Mech’s design incorporates dual joints and heavy-duty components capable of lifting up to 60 kilograms and reaching heights exceeding 2.4 meters . This configuration allows the robot to perform tasks such as truck loading, palletizing, stacking, and handling packages in complex industrial conditions.
Thanks to its omnidirectional wheel base, Mech moves nimbly through warehouses and production plants, approaching workstations without needing to be reconfigured. Its vision system includes up to 16 cameras that allow it to identify objects , calculate trajectories, and execute precise movements, even in tight spaces.

Integrated physical AI for real-time decision making
What sets Mech apart is not just its strength, but its intelligence. The onboard supercomputer runs hundreds of simultaneous AI models, allowing it to adapt to new tasks with ease. This approach, called “physical AI,” enables features such as haptic recognition, bimanual coordination, and advanced spatial planning.
The robot can be upgraded with specific applications that expand its repertoire of tasks. In its launch version, Mech is optimized for truck loading, but new applications are expected throughout the year , covering more processes within industrial logistics .
More productivity and fewer occupational risks
A single operator can remotely manage up to ten Mech units, enabling scalable operations without increasing human risk during heavy-duty operations. Its autonomous operation capability reduces downtime and allows for fatigue-free deployment over extended shifts.
Samir Menon, founder and CEO of Dexterity, noted that Mech is the culmination of years of work in AI applied to physical movement. With this technology, the company aims to solve bottlenecks in modern logistics , adapting to existing infrastructures without requiring large additional investments.
Mech is now available to industrial customers and promises to be a key tool in the transition toward safer, more efficient, and flexible logistics operations.
