Acción Group, independent coordinator of the “RFP tranche 2”, announced that LUMA Energy provided the general guidelines for the construction of projects submitted to this call, in order to help developers in the preparation of offers.
The document, which was published this week and is available on the documents page of the PREB-IC website, indicates that this is crucial for the signing of a construction management contract between LUMA and the Resource Provider that establishes the terms under which construction will take place.
In it, details are shared for all new construction and maintenance of electrical transmission lines, distribution lines, catenary and trolley installations, distribution yards and substations, from manual and mechanical work in the works; the movement of employees, tools or equipment; loading and movement of materials.
And among the interconnection options, LUMA specified the guidelines for projects with a Point of Interconnection (POI) in an existing substation and in a new sectionalizer for a single proponent; and other POIs presenting cases with multiple proponents in an existing substation.
