Plastic Omnium is responsible for the hydrogen storage plant
Plastic Omnium has announced plans to build the largest plant in North America for the manufacture of hydrogen storage systems. This facility will be located in Grand Blanc Township, Michigan and will aim to supply a leading vehicle manufacturer in the United States.
The company will design, develop, and manufacture high-pressure hydrogen storage systems for zero-emission medium- and heavy-duty vehicles. Likewise, an advanced validation and prototyping laboratory will be established to guarantee product safety and provide optimal service to customers.
The project is expected to involve a global investment of approximately $170 million and create 175 jobs in the high-tech manufacturing sector.
