During its presentation at the West Hall in Las Vegas, Komatsu revealed the advances in design and automation that position the company as a leader in solutions for mining and construction in harsh environments . According to Taisuke Kusaba, Chief Technology Officer of Komatsu Ltd., these innovations seek to meet current demands and anticipate future challenges.
Construction on the Moon and under the sea with advanced excavators
Prototypes on display include a lunar excavator , designed to operate in low-gravity conditions, and an autonomous robot that promises to redefine underwater construction. These developments, geared toward sustainability and connectivity, represent a new era in industrial machinery.
Komatsu CEO Hiroyuki Ogawa stressed the importance of inspiring new generations of engineers and designers to continue developing transformative technologies.
