At Expo 2020 Dubai, the world’s first air-conditioned safety helmet was unveiled. The launch was carried out by the company NIA Limited, a regional distributor of the product.

The helmet is made by India’s start-up Jarsh Safety and is powered by patented cooling technology that provides up to 24°C, an innovative product of great use to the construction workforce in regions with extreme working conditions.

According to the developers’ website, the helmet provides comfort, reduces stress and increases productivity. It has several models, one for the industrial force with rechargeable batteries that last up to 10 hours, another type for executives with a duration of 2 hours for field visits and another helmet for welders.
