The Tech Talking program this Wednesday, October 26, will have as a guest Ing. Andrés Tovar, Vice President of Business Development of the Americas of the company AMOG Consulting, who will be talking with Ing. Francesco Solari, CEO of Inspenet, on the technological contributions to the maritime sector made by this company.
Andrés Tovar is a Mechanical Engineer with a master’s degree in Engineering Management and an MBA (Master in Business Administration) in Entrepreneurship in Supply Chains. He has a solid technical background with experience in Management and Project Management.
In this episode of the Tech Talking program, Ing. Tovar explains that the company AMOG Consulting has as a fundamental principle to offer good engineering based on four practices called: Mechanical Structural Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering and Systemic Security Engineering, where they innovate with research and project development.
AMOG Consulting has developed studies with marine biologists on the elements of seawater that deteriorate steel, identifying the variables, applying mathematical analysis and finite elements to determine the remaining life of the evaluated element. In addition, the company is the author of the API RP 2 MIM recommended practice and additionally participated in the revision of the API RP 2SK.
