The NEO Beta, with a focus on safety and functionality, is set to be launched in selected homes this year. 1X has opted for a biologically inspired design, capable of performing physical tasks and collaborate with people efficiently. According to the company, the goal is to gather valuable feedback on the robot’ s performance in real-world scenarios to refine its development and optimize its ability to perform a wide variety of tasks.

1X Tech and its humanoid robot

Bernt Børnich, CEO of 1X, stressed that security is the top priority for the company.

NEO Beta has been designed with human coexistence in mind, ensuring that it can operate efficiently without posing any risk.

The company seeks to transform the concept of physical labor in the home, with the intention that these robots reliable and accessible tools to perform tasks ranging from everyday to more complex tasks. NEO Beta will be manufactured on a large scale at 1X’s plant in Moss, Norway, allowing for wider expansion in the near future.

With this limited introduction, 1X intends to gather feedback on its performance and refine its design. This prototype is emerging as an innovative solution for those looking to automate household tasks safely and efficiently.
