Honda Motor Co. Ltd. announced today the launch of the new N-VAN e mini electric vehicle, a new model designed for commercial use that will will go on sale in Japan on October 10, 2024. This model incorporates exclusive features of the electric vehiclesThe N-VAN is a gasoline N-VAN, maintaining the advantages of the gasoline N-VAN, such as a large cargo space and a wide opening on the passenger’s side.

The N-VAN e is distinguished by its high-capacity battery, which allows a range of 245 km in WLTC mode on a single charge. In addition, charging time is approximately 4.5 hours for a normal charge and 30 minutes for a fast charge.

This mini-EV also features a battery cooling and heating system that optimizes battery performance in various weather conditions.

The N-VAN e electric vehicle is available in 4 models

Honda offers four types of N-VAN e to meet different needs:

  • e: L4: A standard four-seater model with a large cargo space and a 7-inch LCD meter.
  • e: FUN: This is the version adapted for leisure activities, with a beige interior and additional features such as LED headlights and fast charging capability.
  • e: G: This model is focused on commercial uses, with a single seat and a design that facilitates the transport of long items.
  • e: L2: It features a tandem seating configuration, ideal for easy vehicle entry and exit and loading and unloading of goods.

All N-VAN e models are equipped with advanced safety and driver assistance features, including the Honda SENSING system, which offers a range of technologies to mitigate collisions and enhance the driving experience. Highlights include side curtain airbags for the driver and front passenger seats and the post-collision braking system.

Another striking feature is that this mini electric vehicle incorporates the Honda Total Care system, which allows users to remotely control various vehicle functions via a smartphone app. These functions include setting the departure time for temperature control, the optimum time for charging and the maximum charge level, among others.

With the launch of the N-VAN e, Honda reinforces its commitment to sustainability and innovation in commercial transportation. This mini-EV offers an efficient and environmentally friendly solution for daily delivery and urban transportation needs, consolidating Honda as a leader in the electric vehicle market.
