GoodWe launches its first manufacturing plant outside of China

In a strategic move for its global expansion, GoodWe has recently opened its first manufacturing facility outside of China, located in Haiphong, Vietnam. This factory, which is the third in GoodWe’s network, focuses on manufacturing both grid-tied and hybrid inverters, marking a significant milestone in the company’s international growth.

This new plant, which occupies 14,800 square meters and will be developed in two phases, specializes in the production of inverter technology. The production capacity of the first phase is expected to reach 5 GW annually when fully operational. This establishment in Vietnam will allow the company to compete more effectively in the global market thanks to a more favorable cost structure.

By choosing Vietnam as a production base, GoodWe seeks not only to compete on prices, but also improve your customer service and ensure timely delivery of products tailored to the residential, commercial, industrial and utility sectors. Xianfeng Li, director of GoodWe Vietnam Technology, thanked the team for their efforts that have made this advance possible, highlighting the high expectations of international markets for the products manufactured in this new location.
