Gazprom supplies gas for Europe through Ukraine in a volume of 41.8 million cubic meters per day through the Sudzha gas pumping station, a Gazprom representative said, adding that the Ukrainian side rejected the request for pumping through Sokhranovka.
“Gazprom supplies Russian gas for transit through the Ukrainian territory in the volume confirmed by the Ukrainian side through the Sudzha gas pumping station of 41.8 million cubic meters as of August 8. The application of the Sokhranovka gas pumping station has been rejected,” he said.
The previous day, the pumping volume was 41.3 million cubic meters.
Earlier reports show with reference to data published on the website of the Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU) that the transit of Russian gas through Ukrainian territory could total about 41.8 million cubic meters today, Monday, August 8.
