Flying Ship, an innovative autonomous vessel designed to glide across the surface of the sea, promises to transform cargo delivery on the world’s coasts and will be unveiled at CES 2025 as a cheaper and faster alternative to traditional aircraft and conventional ships.

The ground-effect technology used allows for transport up to 10 times faster than a conventional ship, at a cost reduced to a quarter of that of an aircraft . This maritime drone has the capacity to deliver loads equivalent to the size of a van to any accessible coast. The company currently has commercial commitments for 200 million dollars, which highlights its disruptive potential in the logistics sector.
Equipped with both electric and hybrid power sources, this hybrid vessel , in addition to being autonomous, is also environmentally friendly. It can cover distances of up to 2,300 miles, carrying loads of between 50 and 6,000 pounds , depending on the model. These features make it a versatile and efficient solution to relieve bottlenecks in congested ports and unlock new logistics routes.

The aircraft will be part of the ZEBOX pavilion , a global innovation accelerator supported by CMA CGM Group, at the Venetian Hall in Las Vegas. It will also showcase its latest model, with a 10-foot wingspan and 50-pound payload capacity, specifically designed for coastal and inter-island missions. This development highlights Flying Ship ’s ambition to lead the future of maritime transport .
