ProLogium Technology , with vast experience in next-generation batteries, plans to change the automotive industry with the presentation of its silicon composite anode at the 2024 Paris Motor Show .

The world’s first silicon composite anode

ProLogium ’s new battery, certified by TÜV Rheinland , would enable higher energy density and fast-charging capabilities that could transform the electric car landscape. With a density of 749 Wh/L, projected to reach 823 Wh/L by the end of 2024, this system improves range, and allows 80% charge to be achieved in just 8.5 minutes – unprecedented in the battery market.

ProLogium founder Vincent Yang said: “ With this technology, we are addressing some of the most critical issues in the EV industry, such as the lack of charging stations and the residual value of vehicles.” This development highlights the company’s commitment to sustainable innovation, improving the efficiency and performance of electric cars.

ProLogium has launched the “ Small Battery, Big Future ” concept, which focuses on reducing the size of batteries while improving efficiency, offering a more economical and environmentally friendly alternative. With a battery that takes up 66% of the space of a conventional battery, vehicles equipped with this technology will be lighter and consume less energy, extending the car’s range.

The collaborative and strategic partnership with FEV

At this event, the strategic collaboration with FEV was announced. The companies together are developing customized battery packs that meet the most stringent regulations, while offering modular solutions that facilitate repair and recycling. This approach reduces maintenance costs and improves the resale value of electric vehicles .
