Fertiberia expands its services with a new AdBlue plant in France

The company produces DNOx urea, a raw material for AdBlue, under the highest environmental standards.

The Fertiberia Group has taken a new step in its international expansion with the opening of an Adblue plant, specialising in the production and logistics of the raw material in France. The facility, located 50 kilometres from Paris, has a production capacity of 50,000 tonnes per year, consolidating the company’s presence in a key market.

The new plant strengthens Fertiberia’s production capacity in Europe, and will also serve as the group’s corporate headquarters in France. Javier Goñi, CEO of the company, indicated the importance of this move to ensure an efficient supply of AdBlue, an essential product for reducing polluting emissions in diesel vehicles .

AdBlue is an ammonia solution used in diesel engines to reduce nitrous oxide emissions, helping to comply with European environmental regulations. This advance in France is added to the recent acquisition of the logistics operator Van de Reijt in the Netherlands and the opening of new subsidiaries in Greece and Sweden. These actions reinforce Fertiberia’s position as a benchmark in sustainable industrial and agricultural solutions.
