Eos X-Space announces space tourism in Seville for flights by 2025

Space tourism in Seville will be a reality by 2025 for the Spanish company. The company, which specializes in space exploration, has revealed its plan to consolidate this initiative in Spain, which currently generates revenues in excess of US$9 billion.

Kemel Kharbachi, the founder and CEO of Eos X-Space, indicated that they are in the final stages of developing their space capsules. In addition, validation tests will soon be carried out with military pilots and the support of the National Institute for Aerospace Technology (INTA). The company plans to begin flight operations in both Seville, where its Spanish headquarters are located, and Abu Dhabi, around the third quarter of 2025. The total investment for development in both countries will exceed US$230 million.

Capsule travel for space tourism

This innovative project in Spain and Europe, started in 2020, distinguishes itself from other space tourism companies. Eos X-Space capsules, designed for eight people, including a pilot, are powered by a non-polluting helium balloon. a non-polluting helium balloon. These capsules reach the stratosphere, at an altitude of 40,000 meters, allowing space tourists to enjoy breathtaking views for five hours. The cost per passenger will range from 150,000 to 200,000 euros.
