Eni has announced an important oil and gas discovery in Mexican waters, specifically in the Yopaat-1 EXP exploration well in Block 9, located approximately 63 km offshore in the Southeast Salina Basin. The well, drilled to a water depth of 525 meters and reaching a total depth of 2,931 meters, has encountered approximately 200 meters of net hydrocarbon-bearing sand layers. hydrocarbon-bearing sands in Pliocene and Miocene sequences. This result is the product of an extensive subsurface data acquisition campaign.

Eni and Repsol grow with oil and gas discovery
