The 140 MW wind farm

The Lheidli T’enneh community, located in the Prince George region, has been a leader in the integration of affordable energy projects that preserve their traditions. The importance of their participation in the wind project highlights their focus on green energy, as an extension of their commitment to respecting the land, water, and air of their territory.

This project and our partner share our vision of promoting sustainability at every stage of the process, a key factor in our decision to partner with Ecoener to make this wind energy project a reality.

Together we are building a legacy of respect for the land and the environment.

The wind farm represents Ecoener’s first project in Canada and represents an investment of €290 million. With a long-term power purchase agreement with BC Hydro , one of Canada’s leading electric utilities, the project ensures stability for the next 30 years.

This collaboration with the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation is an example of our commitment to building strong, trust-based relationships with the local communities in the territories where we operate.
