The Chinese company DJI, which holds the leading position in the global market for drones for civilian use, has introduced a new drone designed to transport cargo: the DJI FlyCart 30 .
The drone has eight propellers, distributed in pairs along four structures. DJI FlyCart 30 is available in various configurations that vary in the maximum load it can carry and the range it can cover.
About the DJI FlyCart 30
This drone operates in two distinct modes: anchor and container . The first makes use of an anchoring system with a length of 20 meters, capable of handling loads of up to 40 kg , with the implementation of balance compensation technology being an important feature. For its part, the second mode of operation makes use of a 70-liter container with a function to stabilize the flight.
Likewise, the DJI FlyCart 30 has the maximum capacity to transport up to 40 kg of cargo. In this mode, it can achieve speeds up to 20 m/s and comes equipped with a single battery. If a second battery is added, the load capacity is reduced to 30 kg.
The autonomy of the DJI FlyCart 30 is 28 kilometers without load and 16 kilometers with load . The maximum flight altitude that it can reach is 6,000 meters. The temperature range in which it operates is from -20°C to +45°C and it can face wind speeds of up to 12 m/s.
The drone has support for 4G connectivity. It is equipped with binocular cameras and radar that form the basis of the anti-collision system. The video stream transmission can cover up to 20 kilometers of distance.
So far, no pricing information has been provided for the DJI FlyCart 30.
