The Total Coat company is the manufacturer in Mexico of the Total Coat body extreme Finish gloss coating specially formulated for automotive use. This coating is used to cover the Body Extreme Heavy Duty, and thus, give a glossy appearance to the original matt laminate.
Total Coat Body Extreme Finish is a one component, water based coating which air dries to a hard glossy film with abrasion resistance when properly applied over Body Extreme Heavy Duty. This coating does not work alone, as an anti-corrosion and anti-abrasive protector. It should always be used together, over the Body extreme Heavy Duty.
One 0.5 mm (20 mil) film, wet build; It maintains its resistance and elasticity for many years, without affectation. It is resistant to UV rays and corrosion ASTM B-117 1000 hours.
It dries to a beautiful glossy textured finish, with excellent anti-chip protection (Gravelometer test SAE J400), it is a single component product, with no additives or necessary mixtures.
The product has a 1-year shelf life, stored indoors and without freezing. It is sold in bottles of a 1/4 gallon (1 US quart / qt).
