The Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) used to celebrate World Quality Day on the second Thursday of November, since 1989. However, since last year the World Quality Week has been celebrated.
This year, it is celebrated from November 7 to 11, under the slogan “Quality awareness: doing the right thing”, with the aim of reflecting on the relevance of quality management in the development of processes, systems and results more efficient at business level.
Quality control provides support in avoiding mistakes, doing it right the first time and increasing value for customers and stakeholders, as well as in generating a strategic vision of quality that impacts the continuous improvement of goods and services. .
