Among the best-paid professions in Argentina, there is one that is defined as a priority for the country: that of a graduate in Marine Propulsion Plants.
This career not only stands out because it is at the top of the list and the starting salary exceeds $430,000, but also because it is studied at only one university and its number of graduates, between 2016 and 2018, did not exceed twenty.
This degree is taught only at the National Defense University, in the Retiro neighborhood of Buenos Aires. Those who come from the interior of the country to study this specialty are offered an alternative accommodation managed by the Center for Naval Machinists. And because it is a priority, its students can apply for the Manuel Belgrano and Progresar scholarships.
