The Tech Talking program this Wednesday, October 5, will have as a guest Ing. Mauricio Calva, who will be chatting with Ing. Francesco Solari, CEO of Inspenet, on ‘Chevron’s New Robotic Inspection Technologies’.
The ING. Calva, has a master’s degree in materials physics and has more than 35 years of experience in industrial inspection technology and robotics, regarding the development of systems, sensors, integration, application development and technology adoption.
As an expert in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), for more than a decade, Calva has worked as Robotics Manager at Chevron Energy Technology Company, focused on inspection technology and robotics for the Oil and Gas industry, including aerial platforms, land and confined spaces with inspection cameras, ultrasound, radiography and electromagnetic sensors.
In this edition of the Tech Talking program, Calva will explain the progress in the development of new technologies related to robotics for the NDT area for the Oil & Gas industry. Robotic inspection and risk reduction for personnel, importance of collected data for decision making, facilities where remote systems are used during operations, and autonomous systems.
