Septentrioa leading provider of high-precision GNSS positioning solutions, has announced the launch of AntaRx, a new smart antenna designed to optimize the automation and control of machinery in sectors such as construction, precision agriculture and logistics.

This smart antenna, which combines a high-performance GNSS receiver with an antenna in a single rugged device, facilitates installation and offers a variety of communication options.

How does the AntaRx smart antenna work?

Built to withstand high levels of shock and vibration, the AntaRx is enclosed in a rugged housing, ready to operate in the most demanding industrial environments. Based on Septentrio’s extensive GNSS experience, this multi-frequency receiver provides high-precision RTK positioning down to the centimeter level.

Importantly, equipment manufacturers and system integrators can take advantage of its versatile features, which include integration with inertial navigation systems (INS), dual antenna mode and 4G cellular communication.

Silviu Taujan, product manager at Septentrio, noted that AntaRx unites Septentrio’s renowned positioning quality with a high-quality antenna, all within a robust and compact design that simplifies installation. The product is designed for industrial applications, such as construction and mining. miningThe product is designed for industrial applications, such as construction and mining, offering proven robustness through extensive testing against industry standards.

AntaRx is also offered in several configurations, either as a GNSS smart antenna or as a GNSS/INS smart antenna system, integrating an industry-leading inertial measurement unit (IMU).

AntaRx joins Septentrio’s portfolio of GNSS receivers for machine control, whose solutions are used by some of the world’s largest construction companies. This receiver technology integrates Septentrio’s GNSS+ algorithms, which include advanced multipath mitigation, allowing uninterrupted operation in challenging conditions, such as near tall structures or heavy machinery.

The AntaRx smart antenna, which is now available, ensures accurate execution of plans during fast movements or rotations with a high update rate and low latency.
