Archer Aviation has achieved a major milestone by completing 402 test flights of its electric eVTOL aircraft, Midnight, during 2024. The company achieved these flights four months ahead of schedule.

The test team has conducted these flights over a period of eight months, generating key data to optimize the performance, safety and capabilities of its eVTOL aircraft. Among the most important test areas are transition flights, high-speed operations, and landings in various wind conditions.

Archer Aircraft Advances Toward FAA Certification and Expansion

In addition to these advances, Archer continues to work closely with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for certification of its aircraft as it prepares to operate as a commercial airline. The recent delivery of one of its eVTOL aircraft to the U.S. Air Force marks another significant step in its expansion.
