The American Petroleum Institute (API) will hold the 2022 API Offshore Safe Lifting Conference & Expo this week, June 22-23, at the Westin Houston Memorial City in Houston, Texas.
At the event, attendees will learn about the latest developments on the high seas, while sharing experiences, practices and even incident information.
Participating in the exhibition will be companies with a long history such as: Shell, Bishop Lifting, ALATAS Americas, Sparrows, Gulf Crane Services, Certex, NSL, Dynamic Lifting Solutions, Xylem, The Crosby Group – Material Handling Solutions, and Techcrane.
Some of the featured conferences will be: “Reducing risk by reducing lifts when handling offshore pipelines” by Tom Rasmussen of the company Global Gravity, “Excellence in safety through efficient lifting operations” by Chris Perkins of the company Versatile and “Development of new API standards in lifting” by Joseph Angeron, Oil States; Brandon Bollinger, Gulf Crane Services, API’s Ben Coco.
