International engineering consultancy Penspen was recently presented the Innovation and Digital Award at the 7th Supplier Recognition Gala hosted by Transportadora de Gas Internacional S.A. (TGI).
TGI, Colombia’s largest natural gas operator, presented Penspen with the award in recognition of the successful delivery of a Statistical Model of Pipeline Failure Probability project for TGI’s pipeline network.
The project focused on developing an advanced Probability of Exceedance (POE) model for corrosion, combining data science and Fitness-for-Service (FFS) assessment methodologies under ASME standards to help TGI predict pipeline performance, anticipate risks, and optimise maintenance investment.
We’re delighted to be recognised by TGI for delivering a successful technology initiative that positions TGI at the forefront of digital transformation in gas transportation and consolidates Penspen as a strategic partner in global asset integrity.
