Scientists test a new semiconductor with high mobility

Researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Jungwoo Shin and Gang Chen, as well as Zhifeng Ren, from the University of Houston in the United States, have carried out experiments that show that cubic boron arsenide is a good conductor of heat, which would avoid resorting to cooling systems in computers and could replace silicon in the future.

Guyana’s oil and gas revenue exceeds $1 billion in 2022

Guyana’s offshore oil and gas industry grows stronger, buoyed by the Stabroek block, government revenue from domestic production is on track to break the $1 billion mark this year and accelerate to $7.5 billion annually in 2030, according to Rystad Energy.
