Scientists test a new semiconductor with high mobility

Researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Jungwoo Shin and Gang Chen, as well as Zhifeng Ren, from the University of Houston in the United States, have carried out experiments that show that cubic boron arsenide is a good conductor of heat, which would avoid resorting to cooling systems in computers and could replace silicon in the future.
