Under the patronage of His Highness Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, LNG2026 will open its doors in Doha, Qatar, from February 2-5, 2026. This is not just a congress; it is the “World Cup” of the gas industry, returning to the global epicenter of LNG production at a critical time for international energy security.

Organized by QatarEnergy in collaboration with the International Gas Union (IGU), the Gas Technology Institute (GTI) and the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR), LNG2026 will define the energy roadmap for the next decade.

Why is LNG2026 the event of the year? With the massive expansion of Qatar’s North Field redefining global supply, this summit is the only place where Energy Ministers, CEOs of the “Supermajors” and buyers from Asia and Europe will sit at the same table. The central theme, “Leading LNG: Powering Today and Tomorrow”, addresses the twin challenges of securing supply and reducing methane emissions.

Program highlights:

  • High-Level Dialogues: Hear directly from Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi (Qatar’s Minister of Energy) and the leaders of Shell, ExxonMobil, TotalEnergies and Sinopec on the future of long-term contracts.
  • Elite Technical Program: Sessions on modular liquefaction, LNG marine propulsion, carbon capture (CCS) in LNG trains and the emerging bio-LNG economy.
  • The Industry’s Largest Exhibition: Over 35,000 m² at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC), showcasing everything from state-of-the-art LNG carriers to advanced cryogenic technologies.
  • Exclusive Technical Tours: Unique opportunity to visit the Ras Laffan facility, the largest LNG production complex in the world.

Key Breaking Details:

  • Dates: February 2 to 5, 2026.
  • Location: Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC), Doha, Qatar.
  • Registration: Open (Closing imminent for security clearance).
  • Focus: Energy Security, Capacity Expansion, Decarbonization and Emerging Markets.

If your business touches any part of the gas value chain, being in Doha this February is not optional, it is strategic.
