QatarEnergy Boosts North Field LNG Output

QatarEnergy has outlined ambitions to raise liquefied natural gas (LNG) production from its North Field to 142 million tons per year by the close of this decade. This strategic plan seeks to increase the production capacity of Qatari LNG.

Cepsa and Bio-Oils have begun construction of the largest second-generation (2G) biofuels plant in southern Europe. This project is intended to produce up to 500,000 tons per year of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable diesel (HVO).
