Tribeca Resources Corporation (TRBC), a Canadian company that operates mainly in mining and metals, revealed the discovery of a kilometer-long copper and gold system, belonging to its La Higuera project and which was named “Gaby”, in the Coquimbo region. , in the north of Chile.

“Integration of the breakthrough results with new geophysical data provides additional promising drill targets, both along strike and adjacent to this find,” the company said in a statement.

The company said results from two drill holes, which form a 500-meter pass to the north, doubled the strike length of significant copper-gold sulfide mineralization.

“These effects are very encouraging and further validate our approach to move aggressively to drill well-reasoned geophysical targets under a thin layer of gravel,” they added in the report.

Thus, the effects of the breakthrough, which is at depth, are being pieced together before planning the next phase of drilling to expand the important discovery.

It should be noted that the La Higuera mining project is located more than 400 meters above sea level and 10 kilometers from the coast of the town of the same name. In itself, it covers 4 thousand hectares and the place where the mineralized system was found, Gaby, is a concession with a purchase option.
