The state company, Pampetrol, awarded the company Ingalfa a project for the installation of a 7 MW photovoltaic solar plant in the northern part of the province of La Pampa, in Argentina.
The solar plant, called Victorica, will be the first solar facility to inject power into the provincial power system. The estimated execution time of the project is about nine months and it will cost 8.2 million dollars.
Pampetrol plans to build more facilities based on renewable energy to address the energy supply deficit suffered by the northern part of the province of La Pampa.
In a 2020 decree, the regional government declared renewable energies and distributed generation of “strategic interest”, with the aim of creating a favorable environment to attract investment, and has introduced tax benefits to encourage the arrival of investors who undertake these projects. .
