From June 9 to 12, the Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, Canada, was the epicenter of the VIII Pan-American Congress on Non-Destructive Testing (PANNDT 2025). This technical meeting, organized by the Canadian Institute for Non-Destructive Evaluation (CINDE), brought together specialists, institutions and leading companies in the field of inspection and nondestructive evaluation.

During four days, attendees participated in technical conferences, panel discussions, specialized competitions and technological exhibition spaces. The last day marked a vibrant closing, with activities aimed at projecting the future of the sector.

A final day focused on the future

The day began with a keynote address by Glenn Tubbrett, President of CINDE, who offered an inspiring perspective on the evolving professional role in NDT. His message emphasized the need for adaptation, continuing education and international collaboration to meet emerging challenges.

This was followed by the “Flawless Futures” panel, a dynamic space focused on mentoring, technical education and inspiring new generations of experts, emphasizing the importance of transferring knowledge and building leadership in a sector that is constantly transforming.

In the afternoon, the focus was on the UT Competition Final, where, with skill and precision, the participants demonstrated their skills under pressure, demonstrating the high level of training and technical preparation.

CINDE: the driving force behind the congress

CINDE is a non-profit organization based in Canada, dedicated to training, certification and professional development in non-destructive testing. Created in 2001 after the merger of CSNDT and the NDE Institute of Canada, the institution is a benchmark in the industry for its educational, technical and human approach.

Its facilities house approved testing centers for CGSB, CNSC and CWB exams, and its instructors teach courses with a hands-on approach, tailored to the real needs of the industry.

Global connection and renewed commitment

The international community gathered at PANNDT 2025 reaffirmed its willingness to continue sharing knowledge, training talent and connecting industries. The event concluded by making it clear that the future of nondestructive testing is built on education, innovation and community.
