Huawei, JAC and Hyundai launch the Maextro S800: A luxury electric sedan

Huawei has unveiled the Maextro S800 , an electric sedan that promises to redefine the premium car segment. The first model under the Maextro brand, this luxury sedan has been designed to compete directly with industry giants such as Rolls Royce and Maybach, offering impeccable design, advanced technology and unparalleled comfort.

Design of the Maestro S800

Measuring 5.48 metres in length and with a wheelbase of 3.37 metres, the Maextro S800 sits in the same league as some of the most luxurious vehicles on the market , such as the Rolls Royce Ghost II and the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. Its presence is unmistakable, with a profile reminiscent of large luxury sedans, but with a modern aesthetic that stands out from the crowd. In addition, its custom alloy wheels and star-shaped roof make this sedan a work of art on wheels.

This luxury electric vehicle comes equipped with a Level 3 autonomous driving system , with a roof-mounted Lidar radar that monitors the surroundings in real-time to perform automated maneuvers, such as turning and stopping at obstacles. The Lidar technology, coupled with the Turing II platform, ensures that this sedan is a pleasure to the eyes and a marvel in terms of functionality and safety.

A sedan to travel the world

With a power output of over 500 horsepower , the Maextro S800 is positioned as a formidable option in the electric car market. Its range of up to 700 kilometers ensures that drivers can enjoy long trips without worrying about charging.

Electric sedan price and availability

The Maextro S800 will hit the Chinese market in early 2025 with a price ranging from 1 to 1.5 million yuan (approximately 131,500 to 195,900 euros). Interested parties can already reserve it by making a deposit of 20,000 yuan (about 2,600 euros).
