Chevron has reaffirmed its commitment to communities affected by Hurricane Milton by donating an additional $250,000 to support recovery efforts in Florida . The oil company has stressed the importance of restoring fuel supplies and mobilizing emergency teams in the impacted areas.
Support for three key organizations
The funds will be distributed among three organizations specializing in disaster management and humanitarian aid. The Fuel Relief Fund will receive $100,000 to ensure fuel supplies in critical areas, while Team Rubicon, a veteran-led group with experience in emergency situations, will also receive an equal amount for its operations. Volunteer Florida, the agency charged with mobilizing volunteers and managing donations in the state, will receive $50,000 to support its recovery efforts.
In addition to the financial aid, Chevron has donated 8,500 gallons of fuel directly from its terminal in Panama City. This fuel will be used to supply rescue teams in the regions most affected by the hurricane.

This additional donation is in addition to the $250,000 Chevron had previously allocated in the wake of Hurricane Helene . In an effort to multiply the impact of these contributions, the company will match donations from its employees and retirees who wish to contribute to relief efforts in the devastated areas.

The company has a network of more than 600 service stations in Florida , as well as three fuel terminals in the state, which strengthens its ability to contribute to the recovery at the local level.
