India’s Sterling Generators has announced an agreement with Tecnicas Reunidas (TR) to develop a 1 MWe green hydrogen electrolyzer, with plans to expand to 10 MW. In this way, to achieve an energetic and useful alliance for the country.
The potential green hydrogen electrolyzer
This project will require energy logistics, given the electrical requirements to produce hydrogen from water by electrolysis. Once the energy source is organized, safety parameters and measurement analysis will be established to promise green hydrogen production with no CO₂ emissions, using renewable energy.
This technology deal, according to Sanjay Jadhav, CEO of Sterling Generators Private Limited, will strengthen the power sector and innovation in India. A project that is aligned with those other ambitious renewable energy renewable energy for the country.
Joaquín Pérez de Ayala, director of TR emphasizes that “The company’s contribution will not only promote the integration of green hydrogen into India’s energy mix. It will also support the decarbonization of highly polluting industrial sectors.“
In general terms, technological links will be strengthened through the exchange of knowledge between India and Spain, promoting innovation and energy development in both nations.
