Jeff mentioned several new trackers, including trackers for non-ferrous applications, internal pipe trackers, and multi-mode trackers. One of the featured products is the Terrax internal pipe tracer, which is modular and versatile, suitable for a wide variety of inspection applications.
One of the interesting aspects of the interview was the discussion of the vacuum tracer, a device that attaches to non-ferrous surfaces and can be used for a variety of inspections, from measuring wall thickness to looking for corrosion under insulation. Jeff described it as a “giant roomba” capable of adhering to materials such as stainless steel and concrete.
Also featured was the tripod crawler used for tank inspection, a versatile, steerable vehicle that can perform wall thickness measurements on tanks and pressure vessels.
Jeff Dubbeldam emphasized that they are primarily engaged in providing vehicles and mechanisms to deploy sensors and probes for various inspection applications. Their customers place different sensors on these vehicles to perform specific measurements according to their needs.
